THE MINDSET THAT GOT ME TO SHIFT ! 🐚

OKAY.. so back in like 2024 january i was STRUGGLING so much to shift. I would cry because every night i wouldn’t wake up in my dr 😔. But then i saw a tiktok that was like “have you ever been excited to go on a vacation and you know you’ll get there, you know tomorrow when you wake up your gonna get in the car and go there, use that mindset for shifting” and i just started affirming in my head acting like my dr was a vacation I was excited for. I would say “im so excited to be in my dr tonight” like I would think when going on a vacation. And that same night.. I SHIFTED!!! So just work on your self concept mindset, if you know you can get it, YOU CAN! Now I always shifting whenever I want!!

when will you realise that in order to shift to your desired reality you simply have to DECIDE?
shifting is an action, nothing more, it’s a decision you take whenever you do anything. you assumed you were here your whole life, but now you’re sick of this and want to change? then change your assumptions. DECIDE TO BE IN YOUR DR INSTEAD. why would you look at the 3d? it’s showing you the opposite results? no, it’s not happening. it’s an illusion of your past dominant thoughts, and now that you know it you just have to BE IN YOUR DR. the physical plane will only obey automatically because you’re the main essence of this multiverse. you’re the creator, why limit yourself and be your own enemy?
be brave and independent.
you’re already there, just decide.

a shifting method that *always* works for me
I've tried this method 3 times. I shifted once and had intense lucid dreams twice. Every time I do it I get crazy symptoms. This is powerful, I promise.
Preparation
It helps if you already have your DR in mind, like kind of saturate your mind with it. I like to listen to music that reminds me of it, or look at the Pinterest board i have of its aesthetic, or watch cute relationship TikToks (it makes me think of my S/o OK??).
Writing a list
I also like to write down Things I'm holding on to. Like basically elements or feelings or concepts that remind me of my DR and I'm holding on to them in my mind to anchor me. Idk how to explain, so here's my list from last night:
Today is 4/30/2025 in my CR. I will shift to my THIDP DR in a few minutes. Here’s everything I’m holding on to:
Fresh static snow
My love for Livia
Cute WLW love in general
Being immortal
Exploring hidden places and old houses
VHS filming
Dark roads at midnight
(end)
The method (everything about this is subjective, but I'm writing down exactly what I did)
Lay down on your back and don't move at all and close your eyes.
Focus on your breathing and just think about your DR and the feeling that you've shifted.
Fall asleep.
that's literally it. lmk if u try this 🤍

✮ HOW TO SHIFT ✮

below you will find the PROVEN way to shift! ☆☆╮
✮ hey dolls! ✮ it's saint/sophie, here to tell you how to get to your dr.
and surprise-surprise, you already know exactly how. i mean, you've been scrolling for so long. how long has it been already since you discovered shifting? months? years? and you're still here? wow!
it's just crazy to think that after ALL this time, knowing EXACTLY how to shift, you're still here. scrolling down this post. which will tell you what you already know.
whatever, if you want to know for the THOUSANDTH time, i'll tell you again!
shifting is to simply change your experience. changing your experience is changing what you see, hear, taste, feel, and smell.
how do you do this? drifting away from all of those senses in this reality, and morphing them into new ones.
sight is the easiest to start with. picture your dr in your head. see it, (first person) see it and look around with your own eyes. it doesn't matter if all you see here is black. this reality hasn't followed your lead yet.
then switch to touch. what do you feel? is it your bedsheets in your dr room? the walls? your clothes? your feet hitting the ground? this is where you start to tune out.
take your time.
let your thoughts guide you. after all, you're the one who decides what your experience is like.
it doesn't matter what you're feeling here. that annoying fan in your room? you're imagining it! give this reality some time to change.
just focus on your inner self. and if you do this, then you're already there.

let shifting consume you. punch the overthinking as if you would punch a nazist. everytime a bad thought arises do two sets of i am too cunt to be bothered by this. be a narcissist and understand that you are superior than a word (shifting) used to describe your birth right. have an ego of a 5’6 man with a lethal face card. you are soul with a body, not the contrary, so just choose which one you want to be in.

Lock in

I don't mean, "Yeah you are going to white-knuckle it into existence. So if you lock in, and do this, then it will happen."
No.
I mean, stop questioning yourself. Stop doubting your own decision.
If you're someone who normally goes, what if I stop worrying, things will go wrong... what if the minute I let go of the strings I'm holding onto desperately, everything will crash and fail...
What if.. what if... what if...
You gotta lock-in, in the sense that you automatically go Fuck that in your mind, when anything opposing to what you already decided, pops up.
How it usually goes,
What if—
Its already done.
What if that email meant—
TF do you mean, everything already went right. Done. Already happened
But what if—
Its done. Its done. Its done.
The thing is when you lock-in, the wavering doesn't even happen most of the time. You just have to like make a decision. Like really truly decide. Decide in a way that you yourself don't put up with any more BS coming from you.

how to reality shift
method two: destabilized awareness
these methods basically boil down to two steps. destabilize your awareness, and then shift. basically, you'll be trying to discombobulate yourself to the point your awareness is not focused on 3D reality, and trigger a shift. if you have trouble getting into the state of pure awareness or lack of awareness or it doesn't feel natural to you, these methods may be good to try out! this post is also for my lucid dreamers, meditators, hypnogogia lovers, or people who struggle with 3D distractions, and anyone who likes or feels the need to experience "symptoms" (ie, sleep paralysis or hypnogogia.)
honestly, most shifting methods i see online are in some way doing this. lucid dreams, the hypnogogic state, SATS, self-hypnosis, and also all those iterations of the "raven method" the "staircase method" the "alice in wonderland method" etc are all basically ways to destabilize your awareness from the linear perception it is so used to in this point of reality, offering the opportunity of triggering a shift to a different one. they're all sort of either distracting or subverting your focus on the 3D here in this point of reality.
why does destabilizing awareness help with shifting?
when we reality shift, our goal is to find a way to trigger our awareness into a movement in the 4th and 5th dimensional directions. for some, this is easier to do when your sense of the 3D in this reality is a little distorted. this isn't because it's impossible to shift while aware of the 3D! on the contrary, lots of people shift while totally awake and aware in the 3D, in either their CR, or their DR, or even both. but for most of us, our awareness is really used to and really comfortable piloting our 3D body here. so perhaps try destabilizing or distracting your awareness to help trigger a shift.
how do i destabilize my awareness?
there are many different ways to destabilize your awareness, so you just need to find one that works for you. i'll put a few ways to try out here, but if these don't work for you, do not despair. you can find other ways, or tweak them to your needs however you'd like. my goal is to put the ones that work for the most people, and explain them in a way you may not have seen before so make it more accessible. hopefully, i can! i think that everyone is fully capable of all of these methods, some just will come more naturally to each person.
method 2(a)
hypnogogia. this is, or was, probably the most common "method" on shifting communities for a long while. all those shifting "symptoms" you heard about? those are hypnogogic sensations. now, one important note is that i do not believe hypnogogic sensations are directly "symptoms of you shifting", because many people shift without ever feeling any, and many people feel them without ever shifting. hypnogogia is merely an experience when your awareness is in this reality, but somewhat disrupted from its focus or perception of our normal physical senses. this is what causes you to feel as if you are floating, weightlessness, numb, flying, falling, spinning, vibrating, phantom sensations of someone touching you, hearing sounds or words, seeing or smelling someone or something that isn't there, sleep paralysis, muscle jerks, etc. etc.
these symptoms can also be paired with feelings of anxiety or impending doom, or even a visit from the "sleep paralysis demon" but they're not always! personally for me when i started my journey, hypnogogia made me terrified, and i couldn't figure why because i wasn't scared of hypnogogia in general. it reduced over time with practice.
how to cause hypnogogia: hypnogogia is a natural transitional state between wakefulness and sleep, which we usually don't experience because as we fall asleep our mind sleeps before our body. so, in order to cause hypnogogia, all we need to do is allow our body to fall asleep while our mind stays aware. people tend to over think this, and the most common pitfalls i see are people falling fully asleep, or keeping themself completely awake by accident, so i'll troubleshoot those below! this method will be a meditation method, but if you struggle with meditation then please check out this post for ways to get into hypnogogia without meditation, and just come back here for how to shift from hypnogogia instead of dropping into pure awareness from there.
step one: choose the space you want to do this in, and i recommend choosing somewhere safe where you won't be disturbed. you can either do this in bed where you normally sleep, or in a different place like sitting up on the couch, and there are pros and cons to both. in bed, the upside is that your body is very used to falling asleep here. the downside is that your mind is also very used to falling asleep here, so if you struggle with accidentally falling totally asleep when trying to get into hypnogogia, maybe try a different place, during the day, or a different pose.
step two: relax your body. for some meditations or shifting methods it's not consequential whether your body actually relaxes or not, but if your goal is to reach hypnogogia, it sort of is. don't overthink this though, because your body naturally gets to exactly the right relaxed state every single night when you go to sleep. the only complication is that you need to basically trick your body and mind into thinking you're going to sleep so it naturally lets your body fall asleep, but secretly, your mind is still aware. some ways to ease this process are body scans (ie, focusing on each part of your body one at a time, allowing each section to relax as you move your focus to the next. i prefer toe to head, but you do you.) or progressive muscle relaxation, (ie, tensing each muscle, and then releasing it to deepen relaxation. this means like tensing your lower leg as hard as you can, counting to three, and then letting go. this can help especially if you're naturally tense!) key notes: it's okay to move. do you hold yourself completely rigid and still when you fall asleep each night, refusing to scratch and itch or roll over because you think you'll never ever be able to sleep if you move even once? probably not. it's okay move, it only disrupts the process if you let it.
step three: keep your mind aware. this is the key to hypnogogia here, but don't overdo it. some people have the issue of accidentally falling totally asleep, and this is because they're struggling to keep their mind aware. it may take practice, or trying different things to see what keeps your mind just awake enough to stay aware during hypnogogia, without just keeping yourself the normal type of awake and lying there for an hour while nothing happens. you can hold your focus on your breathing, a mantra, put on a soundtrack or white noise, counting, a visualization, or even a physical sensation. i used to place a small stone on my forehead and focus on the weight of it, since it was a sensation just unusual enough to hold my focus without being entirely distracting. if you struggle with slipping into sleep (or have adhd), try something slightly more engaging or add more than one thing to keep yourself aware.
step four: let your body fall asleep. there is no need to force it. your body naturally knows how to fall asleep, you've done it every day for your entire life. just let it, and don't get in the way. if you struggle with trying to get into the hypnogogic state and ending up just laying there with no results for hours, it's because you're getting in the way (sorry!) you do not need to try to force yourself to start having hypnogogia (i think this is a pitfall for some, keeping their body too awake while they engage their physical senses too much) or push it to fall asleep or force it to fall asleep. that will generally keep it away. it's more of a letting go and allowing your body to fall asleep. key notes: your body may test you to see if you are actually sleeping. during the day, there may be many periods where you are at rest (sitting watching tv, in class, at work, etc) where you're still and calm but it would be highly inconvenient for your body to simply slip into sleep at the drop of a hat. so your system may test you, checking if your body is actually supposed to be going to sleep before allowing it to. this is where you'll get muscle jerks, or hallucinations that make you flinch. think of these like the "are you still watching?" pop up on netflix. your system is trying to check if your body should go to sleep or not, so let them pass. you do want your body to go to sleep.
step five: hypnogogia. at some point, you'll start to experience the tell tale sensations of hypnogogia. you don't need to fabricate or create these sensations, they'll come naturally. let them. congratulations, you are no longer grounded in the 3D sensations of this reality. hypnogogia is already the bridge between wakefulness and sleep in this reality, but it can also be a bridge from this reality to another.
how to shift from hypnogogia: there are two ways you can go about this. you can either focus on the hypnogogic sensations and use/direct them to trigger yourself to shift, or let them pass and focus on the fact that you're not grounded in the 3D of any reality in that moment, allowing that to trigger yourself to shift. generally, the hypnogogic sensations people experience seem sort of "random", so you might get floating or spinning or vibrating, etc, etc. if you're trying to use the sensations you're getting, then gently direct the sensations. meaning, direct your hypnogogic sensations to correlate with your desired reality. you don't need to force or control them, just feel them and line that up with experiences or a visualization of your DR. weightlessness? visualize how soft and light you feel in your DR bed. tingling sensations? direct your attention to the tickling, waving long grasses of the field you're becoming aware of in your DR. hallucinating lights or sounds? think of the sounds or light sources of your DR as you become aware of it. if you're trying to focus on the detachment from 3D (helpful if hypnogogia is scary for you, you can stay calmer by not focusing on the sensations) try to relax and let the sensations continue but pass you by. recognize and understand you are not grounded to the 3D experience of any reality at that moment, your awareness has already loosened its grip on this reality, and turn your attention towards thoughts of your DR, mainly on returning to full awareness there instead of here.
method 2(b)
lucid dreams. ive posted before about how to do reality checks to confirm you're in a lucid dream (check out my pure awareness methods for that tidbit) so here i'll focus on how to have lucid dreams in the first place, since these methods focus on how to get into that destabilized awareness. now, a lucid dream is just a dream. the only difference is that in a lucid dream, you are aware. not of the physical 3D in this reality, but of some of the goings on of your mind while your body sleeps. this means that certain parts of your usual functions here are inaccessible because those parts of your physical brain are "off" or performing alternative functions, so you won't be able to read, and you will be in a dreamlike state even tho you're aware. this dreamlike state is enough to loosen the tether your awareness feels to this reality. now, my other lucid dream method focused on how to get into the state of pure awareness from a lucid dream, and that's not necessary for this method. your goal here is to shift directly from the lucid dream to your DR, which is a little different and has its own pitfalls. the major one: accidentally just moving to another lucid dream instead of shifting. i'll address that below!
step one: have a lucid dream. you can wait for one to happen naturally if you get those, or you can increase the chances of having one in a few ways.
start practicing and repeating your "reality checks" throughout the day. repetition is key, because when you're dreaming your brain naturally processes memories, thought patterns etc and that will reflect in your dreams. the goal is to repeat your "reality checks" so often that your brain does one while dreaming, so that you have the opportunity to realize you're dreaming and become lucid. another way to do this is throughout the day, pause what you're doing and visualize yourself noticing that you're dreaming and becoming lucid in a dream (ie, think about it.) do this often enough you start to do it in your sleep too.
you can meditate before bed. choose any meditation you want, and really try to get at least into a light meditation state, because it really does increase the rate of vivid and lucid dreams for a lot of people, maybe even you!
wake back to bed. this is a common technique, where you go to sleep, wake up, and then go back to sleep. the reasoning is that you are more likely to enter an REM cycle quickly enough that your brain is still somewhat lucid, increasing the chances of a lucid dream.
keep a dream journal. as soon as you wake up, write down as much of your dreams as you can remember, even if it's very vague or half a thought. strengthening your dream recall also seems to increase the chance of becoming lucid in a dream.
how to shift from a lucid dream: now, the most common trouble with this method is when people accidentally just go to another lucid dream instead of shifting. be aware that this is a possibility, and practice your reality checking skills so that you can become confident in your ability to tell the difference. reality check while you're awake, and reality check while you're lucid in a dream. do this so often you become able to notice the differences, because when you do a reality check while awake in your DR it will feel exactly as real as it does here, no exceptions. if there is anything dreamlike, muddled, or "off" about the experience, you likely have not shifted.
anyways, with that in mind, i'm going to give two different ways to shift from a lucid dream. the most common i see online is the "create a portal and imagine your DR is on the other side," but very often i see this cause people to step through the portal and just enter another lucid dream instead of shifting. that's because when you're lucid in a dream, youre capable of creating and changing the dreamscape however you want, so your brain is just creating a lucid dream instead of your awareness shifting. if that's happened to you, try the ones here instead!
1) travel to your DR, do not create it. the instinct to "create" your DR around you can tend to lead you to create a lucid dream. when we reality shift, we do not create the 3D world of our DRs or invent it with our minds the way we do dreams, we shift our awareness from this 3D, to another. when you've firmly established lucidity, think about your DR but do not alter your dreamscape to look like it. just think about where you want to go, and begin to think of your dream self (the body or whatever form you take) as your awareness. use your dreamscape however you'd like to travel to your DR (train, flight through space, falling down a pit, it doesn't matter, do what feels right.) just don't create the destination. when you get there, you should become aware of your DR, but make sure to reality check and ensure you're not still lucid dreaming.
2) become your DR self in your dream. instead of focusing on your surroundings (helpful if you tend to just go to another lucid dream,) you can instead focus on yourself. visualize that you are your DR self, having a lucid dream in your DR. the dream can become whatever you want, whatever your DR self is dreaming about, because you are your DR self having this dream. visualize that when you wake up, you'll be waking up as your DR self. you can either keep dreaming and sleeping as your DR self, or intentionally wake up. either way, you should wake up as your DR self. (check for false awakenings and ensure you're not still lucid dreaming.)
method 2(c)
distraction. our awareness can seem to be quite stubborn, and we can feel like we struggle to direct it to what we want. if that's the case for you, try distracting it. think of it like jangling keys in front of your awareness, or the subway surfers clip at the corner of a video to help stimulate and distract your 3D senses attention just enough you can shift your awareness where you want it. lots of methods involve trying to decrease your 3D sensations as much as possible, calm your mind and body, and be still, quiet, etc. this method is kind of the opposite, because some people need stimulation in order to let go. ever zoned out while fidgeting, daydreaming, or getting distracted? the goal here is to gently distract yourself so your awareness loosens the reigns a bit on this CR, and that's your window to shift.
below are some distractions you can introduce, and a pro tip is that whichever sense tends to be the one that you feel "holds you back" from other shifting methods is probably a key one to try to distract with this stuff.
sound. you can choose any sound, maybe a playlist of songs that fit the vibe of your DR, white noise, binaural beats, environmental ambiance noises, ASMR, whatever. it also doesn't have to be calm or quiet stuff. pick the screaming metal rock band album, or put on jackhammer ASMR if that's what suits you.
sight. almost all methods involve closing your eyes, but this one doesn't have to. put on a movie you've seen so many times you don't actively watch it anymore, a Pinterest board, a handmade vision board, a painting you like, a collection of gifs of your S/O, it doesn't matter.
touch. lay somewhere you usually wouldn't, like outside, on the floor, on the stairs. hold something with an interesting texture or temperature in your hand. put on a weighted blanket. hug a stuffed animal. dip your hands in water.
smell. cook food that smells really good. light a candle, or incense. use a perfume, cologne, or scented soap. grab a fist full of soil, or a sprig of herbs.
motion. this, i feel, can be key for some. pick a repetitive motion, like a fidget. roll something in between your fingers, click a pen, tap your foot, bounce your knee, walk, spin in a chair, etc.
your CR body can stay completely awake. you don't need to be meditating (although you could argue this level of distraction is somewhat meditative? but. you know.) you don't need to be focused, or still, or calm. while your 3D senses are distracted, let them be. think about your DR. visualize where you are, what you're doing. think about what you're going to do. really let your mind wander, the same way it might when you're just thinking about stuff here. at some point, the goal is to reality shift when your 3D CR self here is too distracted to notice you even did it. You'll start thinking as your DR self, and when you "come back to your senses", it's your DR senses instead of your CR ones.

LITTLE THINGS THAT HELPED ME SHIFT REALITIES
────── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ──────
-> no methods, all about mindset (for shifters who haven’t shifted yet)
Note; I haven’t shifted to my DR, but I have shifted before. It was smooth, it wasn’t desired, but it happened. I do not claim to be an expert, I share my own experiences and what helped me.
────── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ──────

────── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ──────
Being scared to shift
Obviously, shifting involves stepping into a place that is unknown, no matter how much you script it, your subconsciousness right now has not experienced it.
Facts to help;
There’s no “OMG I shifted” moment, it’s natural. You have existed in your DR since you were born in that reality. It is just like here, you don’t freak out when you wake up, it’s a smooth and natural process. This is the same for your DR.
Life. Sure, for some perfectionists and paranoid people you might want to think of every single thing that could go wrong and script to avoid it. How have you survived in this reality like this? Exactly. Life will throw all sorts of stuff at you, you’re at an advantage in your DR because of your script, doesn’t mean bad stuff won’t happen, because it will. Life being unpredictable is a constant, take it as such.
Your script isn’t a cage. “What if I fall out of love with him”, break up. Everything is constantly changing, feelings especially. It doesn’t matter, it just happens. It’s not the end of the world if after a couple years in your DR your life is completely different to how you imagine it. It’s like your CR. TAKE THIS AS A CONSTANT
You will always have constants, similarities and the option TO SHIFT BACK. Remember: you are in control
Methods to overcome;
Journaling about why you’re scared is a massive help. This doesn’t have to be physical! There apps such as “Dayol” which are beautiful for journaling. Addressing your fear directly as it is can help overcome it, or learn to live with it.
Work on letting go. Meditation/subliminals to work on mentally preparing and letting go of this reality, being ready to face whatever happens in your DR and remembering that you are always in control.
Create a comfort of day to day routine in your DR. Do not just think about big moments, like you and your S/O’s first kiss, first day of Hogwarts etc. Think about your warm cozy evenings in bed, your school timetable. This is what relates and links this to your CR, those small moments that you cherish wherever you are, can help let go.
Speaking of letting go, let go of the pressure. Be excited, but view it as a small (if any) change in your life. Its natural, it’s fluid and it’s barely a transition
────── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ──────
Get out of the “failing” mindset
“I had a dream about my DR but didn’t shift” “I tried to shift but I just woke up in this reality” When you use asleep methods (or even awake methods and end up falling asleep) if you end up dreaming about your DR (or even if you don’t), it’s a sign that your subconscious is engaged in working towards the goal of being in your desired reality. Do not be demotivated by this, if you can move your mindset to being more positive, you can recognise that dreams can offer a sign of hope, insights and clarity about our DR while within your CR
Your CR is still one of the many realities in the multiverse for you to explore. Treat it as such, yes your DR may be more desired, but there is still so much to do here, to learn, to discover. You’re never stuck in your DR, why would you be stuck here?
────── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ──────
You deserve it, and you can have it
You deserve those drastic changes, being able to do magic, be with those you love and love your dream life.
I feel a lot of shifters have very low self esteem, not knowing if they deserve it but knowing they can have it -> therefore in turn putting their DR on a pedestal.
You deserve it, you can have it there, you can have it here. Stop being so defeatist, confidence.
Confidence;
- KNOWING you will shift, not an “attempt”
- KNOWING you deserve everything
- KNOWING it’s just your life
Look in the mirror, repeat them every day, every time you remember.
────── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ──────
You got this, happy shifting. You will shift.

so let’s talk about the 4D, 3D, & reality shifting.

when you’re shifting, I know we all for the most part affirm. We always affirm maybe, “I am in my dr,” “I have shifted,” and etc.
I also know that a lot of shifters have expressed their frustration regarding them not “feeling” their DR. and honestly, I’m here to tell you that feeling your DR doesn’t matter and that’s the last thing you need to worry about.
what do I mean by that?
well when you affirm, you’re throwing those words to your subconscious mind [the 4D] and your subconscious automatically believes whatever you’re saying because you’re the GPS and they’re just the driver.
You’re so focused on the 3D that you’re forgetting that you’ve already shifted because you said so. That’s it, you’ve shifted. Pat yourself on the back!
You don’t need a 5000 step method, to drink water, to do anything to shift. You don’t need to put loads and loads of effort in, you just need to let go and shift.
To shift is to accept your DR, go to it, and have fun. You don’t need anything but yourself to do that.
Stop letting these shifttok creators lie to y’all and dictate your shifting journeys. You’re in control.

VOID STATE WHEN SHIFTING🧚♀️

hiii so i’ve been doing the void state really easily since 2020 without even knowing what it was at first and i shifted multiple times with it🫶🏼
so what i always do is i lay down and for me personally i use like a blind fold but u don’t have to just whatever fits u but i use it because it helps me focus on the darkness i see when i close my eyes and just relaxing and all i do is keep my mind clear so i don’t think about anything at all and if i do then ill simply tell myself to let it go and after a few minutes u will feel urself being so relaxed that ur body might be a bit numb and u don’t feel ur body and ur eyes feel heavy as if ur tired but ur mind is still awake and active if that makes sense? and then after that i choose on how to shift depending on how i feel so maybe affirming, visualising (when i visualise i really try to picture it in my mind like trying to see it so hard in the darkness that i focus on and then i shift….that how i do it and i hope it helps u💋
also i have adhd and if someone who has adhd can do this so can u, i also understand how hard it can be to focus but it ok to let ur mind wander and bring focus back that how i learned🧚♀️

What you want to be will cost you what you are

To shift is to expand beyond this version of yourself.
If you are reading this, you probably refer to yourself as a struggling shifter. Maybe not out loud, maybe not in the presence of others, but in the comfort of your own mind you repeat the same story over and over. It is a defining characteristic of how you interact with the world. It colors how you see others, how you respond to advice, how you act.
You have this constant nagging at the back of your mind that you are missing something, that something is wrong and absent and you have to find it. You think it's information, a secret or a key, but you're craving fulfillment. You KNOW deep down what you are supposed to have and who you are supposed to be, and being without it feels like trying to read a book without words. There's nothing there but you know there is supposed to be.
You are looking in the wrong places. You are not going to find what you want in other people because what you want is within yourself. The constant searching and repetition of "I'm not doing enough, I need to do more" is stopping you from seeing the bigger picture.
If you want to read the new story you have to leave this one behind. If you want to enter a state of consciousness in which you are a master shifter you have to stop clinging to this limited identity you find yourself in now.
Do not allow yourself to be consumed with the idea that something outside of you is missing. Do not allow yourself to think that you need to gain something in order to shift. Do not allow yourself to think that you are incomplete in any way.
Stop thinking that there is something that you don't know, that there is some piece of information that you do not have, and if you could just find it you would be complete and everything would fall into place. No. Everything you need is within you. You are everything you need.
You are in this constant cycle of searching and searching under the Assumption of failure. You navigate every part of your life already deciding that it is not going to work. "Nothing works but I'll try this anyway" is NOT challenging your assumption it is reinforcing it.
STOP martyring yourself. You are not Sisyphus. You are NOT chipping away at your manifestation until your hands bloody. The heart of manifestation is to in some way allow yourself to be as you would if it was already yours. There is no searching in fulfillment.
You are not allowing yourself to even consider anything outside of your current experience. You defend your "limitations" as immovable and unchanging with more passion than you have ever defended yourself or your desires. What is it doing for you? What has it given you to warrant such unwaivering loyalty and why don't you believe you deserve the same?
Shifting requires you to expand your consciousness beyond this version of yourself. You can no longer view your desired reality as something outside of you, you cannot view your own fucking life as distant and unreachable, and you most certainly cannot worship at the alter of lack.
The idea of longing is a romantic one, it's fun to wallow in yearning and tell ourselves that it is somehow tragic we are here and not there, but it is a lie. Your Drself is not separate from you. You do not have to become them you just have to be them. It is within you. It is within you. It is within you. Your DR is not far away it is your life.
It is not outside of you and it never has been. You cannot miss a place you've never left. It has NEVER at any point been separate from you.
Stop creating separation where there is none. There is nothing between you and it.
Expanding past this life is unfamiliar but rewarding, make the change. The unknown is scary but staying here is scarier, make the change. A familiar pain will always be more comforting than an unfamiliar triumph, be uncomfortable, make the change.
You are not anything or anyone inherently you are only what you define yourself as.

Hello It’s me, Methone again 🤟
Ive been lucid dreaming, every single night for a week.
I’ve always wanted to achieve it, since i was idk 6
AND I’VE TRIED EVERY STUPID METHOD. I’ll tell you that
I know that those methods does work for some people but I am not one of them😔
And then a week ago, I thought “who the fuck will tell me what to do to achieve my goal”
Since we all know about the void state, shifting and lucid dreaming I’ll go straight to “THE METHOD”.
╰┈☆ THE METHOD ☆┈╯
1. I put on this banger👇 on my headphones and i lie down (i always do this when i feel that i’ll be tired soon or when i know i can make myself fall asleep pretty easily. BUT NOT TOO TIRED)
youtube
2. When I’m listening to this i affirm just the simplest and most beautiful “I am” (i listen to that for an hour at least) But sometimes my mind wonder and i think about some stupid things like “should i pee? or not?” for an hour and it still works for me.
3. When i take off my headphones and i hear in my ears that dubumdubum sound, i know that I’m ready.
4. Then i just lie on my bed in comfortable position to fall asleep and i repeat in my head “I am aware, I am aware”
5. Booom you are lucid dreaming
6. (extra tip) I visualise that I am already counting my fingers.
Thank you for reading this:) I hope my “method” (i hate this word) will work for you! I’m waiting for your stories in the comments.
I love you, beautiful people.

stop treating shifting as this huge great freaky thing.
it’s NORMAL. you’ve been doing this shit for years by now, even right after you were born.
it should be something casual to you, not some thing you force and obsess over.
decide where you want to go and let it come to you naturally.
remember that it’s something so damn normal, you just forgot about it for a while, but now you remembered and that’s what matters.

how do i become aware of my dr? shifting sounds easy, but i don’t know how to do it, just thinking about it?
There are tons of different ways to shift your awareness.
You can go with classic so called “shifting methods” like the Raven method, staircase method, and so on. You can find instructions all those on ShiftTok.
You can just affirm “I am in my DR” “I am shifting” and alike.
You can educate yourself on law of assumption.
Adopt the mindset that you just do it the moment you decide to.
And there are probably lots of other ways I can’t come up with right now.
What is important to remember is that shifting isn’t something you have to force physically nor mentally. You don’t have to put in any work to shift.
I’d say the 4th mentioned way is the “purest” form of shifting, since shifting in itself is a natural action that isn’t dependent on mindset, bodily state, emotions, etc.

omg i loved your “shifting to Italy” post and was wondering if you could do one for ancient egypt? xx (you don’t have to ofc just a suggestion!!)
shifting to ancient egypt? gotch ya.

ancient egypt was a cradle of civilization concentrated along the lower reaches of the nile river in northeast africa.
act i. when are you?
based on your time period, you will have very much different experiences. i’d suggest you to research which one you are more interested in shifting.
predynastic ( c. 6000-3150 BCE ) preceding recorded history, saw the development of early settlements and the emergence of distinct cultures in the nile valley.
early dynastic period ( c. 3100-2686 BCE ) marked by the unification of upper and lower Egypt, the first and second dynasties ruled during this time, establishing the foundations of the egyptian state.
old kingdom ( c. 2686-2181 BCE ) a period of great power and prosperity, characterized by the construction of the pyramids and the establishment of the pharaoh as a divine ruler.
first intermediate period ( c. 2181-2040 BCE ) period of political instability and fragmentation following the decline of old kingdom.
middle kingdom ( c. 2040-1640 BCE ) period of reunification and renewed prosperity, with advancements in art, architecture, and literature.
second intermediate period ( c. 1640-1550 BCE ) another period of instability, marked by the rise of the hyksos and the fragmentation of egyptian rule.
new kingdom ( c. 1550-1070 BCE) a period of great expansion and military power, with powerful pharaohs like hatshepsut, akhenaten, and ramses ii.
third intermediate period ( c. 1070-664 BCE ) period of decline and fragmentation, with various dynasties vying for power.
late period ( c. 664-332 BCE ) period of foreign rule, with egypt ruled by the assyrians, egyptians, and persians.
roman period ( 30 BCE - 641 CE ) egypt became a province of the roman empire, marked by roman administration and culture.
act ii. who are you?
you are in the middle of a society who has a strict social structure, and where your status will shape your daily life and power. you are born with it, and only scribes, soldiers and artisans could rise. from the most protected to the least one:
pharaoh. used as a title for absolute monarch since under the new kingdom, often called horus on earth. had control over laws, military, religion, and land. lived in luxurious palaces with servants, and wore a double crown ( pschent ) to symbolise his status as ruler. the most well-known are tutankhamun, ramesses ii, and akhenaten.
pharaoh’s family. wives, children and sibilings had high-ranking positions in the government and religion.
nobles. were high-ranking government officials, including the vizier ( the pharaoh's chief advisor a.k.a prime minister, who oversaw taxes, justice, and administration ) and nomarchs ( governors, controlled egypt’s provinces and managed local social ).
priests. they played a crucial role in religious ceremonies and rituals, and they held significant influence in society.
high priest: appointed by the pharaoh, held the highest authority within the priesthood, performing the most important rituals and managing the temple's affairs.
wab priests: carried out essential but mundane tasks, such as preparing for festivals and maintaining the temple complex.
other priests: who read funeral liturgies ( hery-heb ) who read incantatory formulas from the book of the dead ( khereb priests ) and those involved in mummification ( paraschists, taricheutes, and colchytes ).
priestesses: women could also be priests, with their roles varying depending on the specific cult or deity.
scribes. highly respected, literate individuals who held important administrative and clerical positions, responsible for recording and documenting everything from daily activities to royal decrees. part of the elite 1% of the population that could read and write. they used reed pens, black ink made from soot and gum, adding red oxide to make red ink, and palettes.
artisans. they lived in special workers villages ( deir el-medina ) and included stonecutters, painters, carpenters, sculptors, jewelers, and metalworkers. they created tombs, statues, temples, furniture and luxury goods.
farmers. made up the majority of population and they walked in fields, growing wheat, barley, flax and vegetables. during flood seasons they usually worked with artisans.
slaves. prisoners of war, debtors and criminals. they worked in nobles households ( cooking, cleaning, taking care of children ), temples, mines and quarries; some could earn freedom and better positions over time.
act iii. where are you?
where you live will shape your experience drastically. normal houses were built of mud-bricks with floors made from earth, and they had living rooms, kitchens and bedrooms, and many of the large objects that we can move around ( like seats and ovens ) were built into the house. there was no gas or electricity, meaning that food was cooked in stone ovens, using a fire for heat. to keep food, pits were dug and food was stored below ground level.
cities, they were the heart of the civilisation. center of political activity, religion, and economic powers. in the cities lived pharaohs and nobles ( pharaohs lived in the ‘great house’ or “per ‘aa. palaces were lavish, with evidence suggesting sprawling complexes with large dining rooms, and other amenities reflecting the pharaoh's status ) priests and scribes ( temple complexes, government departments, and even private households, depending on their specific duties and employers ) artisans and merchants ( often lived in distinct workmen's villages like deir el-medina, located near the valley of the kings ) slaves ( lived in simple dwellings, possibly separate from their owners' homes, or within the same household as servants ) but…… what cities? here some examples.
memphis. the capital of the old kingdom. full of loud markets, stone temples, and busy workshops. the most notorious thing are the white walls, the great temple of ptah, statues, palaces ( huge monuments of pharaohs ) craftsmen’s quarters ( people making gold jewelry, statues, and linen ) the nile docks ( ships unloading grain, wine, and goods from nubia and the levant ) …. one of the official religious centers as it was the worship center for the holy triad of the creator god of ptah, his wife sekhmet and nefertem.
thebes. the city of the gods. religious and cultural powerhouse, full of priests, scribes, tomb builders, and travelers. you’d see karnak and luxor temples ( giant temples with sphinx-lined roads ) street performers, food vendors, and boat festivals on the nile. markets full of incense, perfume, and imported goods from the red sea trade.
deir-el medina. there were around 68 houses, made of mud-brick built on stone foundations. letters, legal documents, statues and tombs tell us about family and working life. many of the men and women could read. women baked bread and brewed beer. the village had a court of law and everyone had a right to a trial. there was a local police, the medjay, to keep order. the people of deir-el medina also had medical treatment. they could get prescriptions of ingredients, prayers and spells from the physicians.
act iv. how is your social life?
we are talking about a very social civilisation….. if you were rich. their daily lives revolved around family, work, festivals, and entertainment, and they knew how to balance duty and pleasure ( fun fact: for them sexuality was sacred ).
marriage. frequently arranged by parents, they were a primarily a social and economic arrangement, not a religious or legal ceremony, where couples were considered married once they started living together, often after a party or celebration. while divorce was possible, it was difficult, and women were often protected from divorce by marriage contracts that placed financial burdens on men.
friendship. was significant aspect of life in ancient egypt, strong bonds and social obligations between individuals, including the idea of ‘friends’ being part of a broader social circle beyond immediate family.
banquets. they were lavish celebrations featuring large gatherings of family and friends, music, dance, and copious amounts of food and drink, frequently held near tombs to facilitate communication with the deceased. they were hosted by wealthy families and nobles. entertainment consisted in harpists, flutists, dancers, acrobats. the food ?? roast duck, fish, bread, figs, wine and beer. the banquets were often held in tents or colonnaded spaces, which were sometimes depicted in tomb. fun fact : particularly during banquets and celebrations, people wore scented wax cones on their heads, which melted and released a pleasant fragrance.
public festivals and religious celebrations. the most well-known festivals were: opet festival ( in thebes ) was a celebration of amun and mut’s marriage, statues was paraded through the streets. hathor festival is a wild party with drinking, music, and dance. wepet renpet ( new year’s ) is a huge nile-side festival with feasts and fireworks, celebrated mid-july. beautiful festival of the valley is a state festival, initiated by mentuhotep ii, and celebrated the bonds between the living and the dead, with citizens strengthening their bonds with the deceased. wag festival involved making paper boats containing shrines to souls and setting them out on the river nile to float towards the west, commemorating the death and rebirth of osiris.
markets. like today, bustling marketplaces were a social hotspot. the steet vendors sold jewelry, makeup ( kohl eyeliner and scented oils ) fine linen clothes, sandals, spices, perfumes, and exotic imports.
music. they usually played harps, flutes, drums, and lyres at parties and religious events while women, were often professional dancers, were hired for feasts and ceremonies.
act v. what are you eating?
bread was a fundamental part of the diet, made from emmer wheat or barley. it was eaten at every meal and was considered a basic element of human life.
beer was a common beverage.
vegetables. were a regular part of the egyptian diet, with a variety of options available, including onions, garlic, lentils, and cucumbers.
fish was a readily available and nutritious food source, it was prepared in various ways, including frying, smoking, and boiling.
fruits like figs and dates were also part of the ancient egyptian diet and were often included in offerings to the gods.
oils were derived from ben-nuts, sesame, linseed and castor oils. honey was used as a sweetener, and vinegar may have also been used. seasonings included salt, juniper, aniseed, coriander, cumin, fennel, fenugreek, and poppyseed.
meat. the wealthy would enjoy pork, mutton, and beef.
poultry, such as ducks and geese.
dairy products, like cheese, butter, and cream.
wine was a product of great importance, offered in funerary rituals and in temples to worship gods and consumed daily by the upper classes during meals and parties.
act vi. what are you wearing?
reflected both the hot climate and social status, with the wealthy adorning themselves with finer materials and elaborate jewelry.
linen. the primary fabric, made from the flax plant, was favored for its breathability and comfort in the hot climate.
wool. while known, wool was considered impure and primarily used by the wealthy for overcoats, but was forbidden in temples and sanctuaries.
jewelry. gold, lapis lazuli, turquoise, and other precious materials were used to create elaborate jewelry, including necklaces, rings, bracelets, and amulets.
women’s clothing. they wore full-length dresses with one or two shoulder straps, which could be pleated or draped. the wealthy often wore flowing, sheer dresses layered with colorful shawls or capes.
men’s clothing. kilt-like skirts ( schenti ) are a wrap-around skirt, tied at the waist, with variations in length depending on the era and fashion trends. loincloth and headdresses.
children’s clothing. they wore simple garments, often loincloths or short kilts for boys, and simple linen dresses for girls.
cosmetics. ochre for lips and cheeks, henna for fingernails, and kohl for outlining eyes and coloring eyebrows.
hair. men and women often shaved their heads, and instead they used wigs.
sandals. while many went barefoot, sandals were sometimes worn.
makeup, particularly black kohl eyeliner, was used by both men and women for both aesthetic and practical purposes, with ingredients like galena and malachite used to create pigments, and cosmetics were also seen as having spiritual and protective significance.
kohl eyeliner. a dark, black eyeliner made from ground galena (lead sulfide) and other ingredients like soot, which was used to outline the eyes. it was believed to protect the eyes from the sun's glare and to repel insects. applied in a distinctive style, with lines drawn above and below the eyes, sometimes slightly arched at the ends.
red pigments. red ochre, a clay that was dried in the sun, was used for blush and lipstick and it was also used to stain nails with henna.
green eye shadow. a.k.a malachite, a copper-based mineral, was ground and mixed with water to make a green eyeshadow.
oil and creams. scented oils and creams were used to moisturize the skin and mask body odor. ingredients included myrrh, thyme, marjoram, chamomile, lavender, lily, peppermint, rosemary, cedar, rose, aloe, olive oil, sesame oil and almond oil.
lipstick. red lipstick was made from red ochre and other pigments, theredder the lips, the higher the social status.
note: don’t forget to script safety things!
